During this visit to Évora, we stayed at The Noble House, a small inn created from buildings that had previously been a nobleman’s home, then a school; it is ideally located just behind the cathedral. We took a guided walk through parts of the walled city, ate pastries, admired the architecture and noted the archeological finds, as well as some modern architectural pieces, in the museum and around the city.
