Site of the Monument to the Discoveries, the Tower of Belém, and the Jerónimos Monastery, Belém is located at the far west of Lisbon, along the Tagus River. Sundays it is also the site of a flea market, and the day we were there, a road race as well as a Deux Chevaux car parade.
