We spent three days in Bar Harbor, visiting with family, bicycling, and walking. Driving down the coast, we made short stops in Bucksport, Searsport, and Waldoboro; stayed overnight with friends in Falmouth, and then drove the rest of the way home, crossing the new Tappan Zee Bridge (a cable-stay bridge, as is the Penobscot Narrows Bridge), next to the deconstruction of the old bridge.
