We stayed in a delightful, small hotel, San Francesco, in Trastevere. This was a terrific location, both for walking through neighborhoods and for getting to famous sites. Since we’d all been to Rome before, we concentrated on simply enjoying the city and also spent a day in Ostia Antica.
