Connemara

County Galway

We spent four days cycling and exploring in Connemara, a district in County Galway. We stayed at  Rosleague Manor, whose grounds reach Ballinakill Bay of the Atlantic Ocean, and finally at The Quay House, the oldest building in Clifden, the “Capital of Connemara.” Bicycling took us past loughs (lakes), peat bogs, pastures, and mountains; and through the small villages of Tully, Cleggan, and Roundstone.
