We began our walking tour with a circular walk from Obernai through forest and vineyards and the villages of Ottrott and Bernardswiller. Returning to Obernai, we met Karen, attended the last evening of the town’s music festival, and later in the evening met Stewart at the train station. We spent the night at Hotel le Colombier.
