The Grand Canyon

May 2008

No photo can possibly capture the canyon’s enormity and grandeur. Nevertheless, we present many views of the canyon and of activities around it: Scenes from the rim; the Bright Angel Trail (we hiked about 13 miles down and up); the Williams Flyer, the train from Williams, Arizona, to the Grand Canyon; the Tusayan Pueblo ruin; and Navaho dancers in front of Hopi House, opened in 1905 and designed by Mary Colter; as well as mules we saw but did not ride along the trail.
