July 2016

We drove from Vermont into Quebec and then on to spend about 36 hours in Ottawa, Canada’s lovely capital city, visiting the Rideau Canal; the Parliament and Supreme Court Buildings; and the National Gallery of Canada, a stunning building, with excellent artwork and a special, comprehensive exhibit of the works and life of Elisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun. We drove south and stopped overnight in Gananoque, from which we took a boat ride around the Thousand islands region. On our drive home, we stopped in Syracuse and outside Binghamton, NY.
