A great place to walk (or x-c ski in the winter), the Rockefeller State Park Preserve and the Rockefeller private property have 45 miles of carriage trails as well as a working farm, restaurant, and coffee bar. The animals are cute, but destined for the table (called “harvesting” on the Blue Hill Farm website). Maybe some sheep are only used for their wool.
