Cape May

October 12-14, 2007

Cape May is peaceful in the fall, with migrating monarch butterflies galore. We also saw hawks from the observatory at Cape May Point, though our camera lenses weren’t fine enough to capture them. We did see and photograph waterbirds in the marshes. We bicycled more than 40 miles around the county, stopping at the Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor and for a ride along the boardwalk in Wildwood.
